Moon filter's not only are useful while viewing the moon, but can be very helpful while viewing the planets. Using neutral density moon filters helps cuts down the glare and allows more fine detail of the planets to be seen. Can be very useful on viewing Jupiter, Saturn and mars, depending on the conditions, detail on, Jupiter and Mars, are very bright when they are in the best viewing positions.

A moon filter is a precision neutral density filters that spreads the Lunar intensity uniformly over the visual spectrum.
